The Biblical Meaning of the Tree of Life That We Must Know

The Biblical meaning of the Tree of Life has been hidden as a parable. We must understand this if we wish to receive eternal life.

From a ruler with great authority to a farmer who spends their days in a field, everyone faces the grim reality of death at the end of their life. No one can escape it. Then is death a problem that can never be solved? As the saying goes, “Where there is a problem, there is a solution”. In science, the solution to our mortality can never be discovered. That is because the origin of death is found within Adam and Eve’s fall from grace in the Garden of Eden.

The Meaning of the Tree of Life That Has Been Written in Parables

A parable is a story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious principle.
Merriam-Webster. (n.d.). Parable.

Jesus let us know that He would reveal secrets hidden from the creation of the world.

Matthew 13:34-35 “Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

All Christians know that the Book of Genesis holds the work of creation and Christ has taught us that there are secrets of the kingdom of heaven, contained in that very book.

Eternal Life and Death Are Found in the Garden of Eden

Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

The story of Adam and Eve teaches the result of their disobedience and that a person who eats from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil will die. Nonetheless, this does not mean humankind is helpless. If we continue reading, we will understand that the secret to living forever is also found in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 3:22-23 “And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

If we take note of the description of the Tree of Life, we can understand that a person who eats from it will live forever. That means, even after Adam and Eve sinned, they could have lived forever if only they had eaten from the Tree of Life. However, God blocked the way due to their disobedience.

Genesis 3:24 “After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.”

Although we have realized the solution to death is found in the Tree of Life, we must gain access to it. Since God has blocked the way, then it is only God who can allow us to eat from it.

If we wish to gain eternal life, we must understand that Jesus, who is God, has revealed to us the reality of the Tree of Life and opened the way for us to eat from it.

Jesus Reveals the Reality of the Tree of life

The Tree of Life in Eden is a hidden secret, and the reality is Jesus’ flesh and blood. Only those who eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood will have eternal life.

John 6:53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Christ taught us that the reality of the fruit of the tree of life is His flesh and blood. However, we should not mistakenly interpret this in a literal sense. Jesus showed us how to eat His flesh and drink His blood.

Matthew 26:17-19 “On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” He replied, “… I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.”

Jesus directed the disciples to keep the Passover, and kept it with them,

Matthew 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Through these verses, Jesus taught us that the Passover bread represents His flesh, and the Passover wine represents His blood. In this way, Jesus has allowed sinners to gain access to the Tree of Life and live forever.

Why Christ Must Come to The Earth

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Jesus’ purpose of coming to the earth was to reveal the Biblical meaning of the Tree of Life. In other words, Jesus came to the earth to unblock the way to the Tree of Life through the Passover. He was able to do so since He is God Himself who blocked the way to eternal life in the Garden of Eden.

The Correct Meaning of the Tree of Life is Lost

God Himself taught us that the Biblical meaning of the Tree of Life is the Passover of the New Covenant. However, this absolute truth was abolished by Emperor Constantine at the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325.

At the first Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D., Emperor Constantine favored the ideology of the Western Church that believes all Christians should observe Easter (Sunday).

Cohen, Bernard, “The Problem with the date of Easter.2016, p. 39-40

During the dark ages, the truth of life, the Passover, disappeared. Once again, the Biblical meaning of the Tree of Life has been lost. Since only God can open the way so sinners can live, He must appear a second time and unblock the way to the Tree of Life.

Christ Will Appear a Second Time

The Bible prophesied that Christ would come again to bring eternal life.

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

When Jesus appears a second time, His purpose will be to give us eternal life. God’s method of bringing salvation to mankind 2,000 years ago was through the Passover. He will do the same at His second coming.

In this age, we must find the one who brings us the Passover, the true meaning of the Tree of Life in the Bible.

Approximately 1,600 years have passed since the Passover was abolished. Many Biblical scholars and religious leaders have appeared, but none of them have been able to restore the Passover. Of course, It is because they are not God. No one except for God can restore the truth of the Passover.

The Christ we are waiting for has already come to the earth. He is Christ Ahnsahnghong. He appeared a second time to give us the Tree of Life. By studying the Bible prophecies, we can come to realize that Christ Ahnsahnghong is our God who has saved us through the Passover.
