Prayer is the way to call on God’s power. It is the act of asking God for blessings and help whenever we are in need. Everyone is a sinner who is imperfect. Therefore, human beings are very limited in ability and even deficient in many areas. This is why we need look to God and call on Him through prayer so that He may help us in our inadequacies.

Prayer Creates Miracles

When a man brought his possessed son to Jesus’ disciples, they were unable to drive out the evil spirit. But Jesus drove out the evil spirit when they brought him the son. So the disciples wanted to know why they couldn’t drive out the evil spirit but Jesus could. Jesus’ answer was prayer.

Mark 9:28-29 “After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.” ”

What stopped the disciples from witnessing a miracle? It was their lack of prayer. Jesus gives us the answer to His power in creating many miracles. Through His constant prayers, He was able to perform countless miracles.

A miracle can be defined as “an extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.”

If we desire to experience the supernatural, we must call upon the supernatural forces. Prayer is the act of calling upon the supernatural power of God. Therefore, prayer is the very tool that allows us to witness the impossible.

Every Great Work is Accomplished Through Prayer

When we look at all the great heroes of the Bible, we can say that they all had one thing in common: they sought God’s help through prayer. Jonah prayed and received God’s strength and power to lead 120,000 Ninevites to repentance. Daniel prayed to God 3 times a day toward Jerusalem. As a result, God protected him in the lion’s den. Elijah experienced the miracle of receiving the fire on the altar after prayer. All the forefathers of faith accomplished great works because of prayer.

Even Jesus, our model of faith, set an example by starting every day with prayer from early in the morning. This shows us that Jesus began every work with prayer. Moreover, Jesus told Peter to watch and pray that he would not fall into temptation. Then why does prayer have the power to drive away temptations from Satan? God is the only one that can overcome Satan. When we receive His power through prayer, consequently we too can overcome the evil one.

So whether it’s leading people to repentance, being saved from a disaster, or overcoming Satan, everything will be accomplished through prayer. Then if we want to succeed in whatever work we pursue, we should pray to God. It is because prayer is always present when a great work is performed.

We Must Pray Continually

Then how should we pray? How often should we pray? God teaches us to pray continually. In other words, all the time!

‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:16-18‬ ‭ “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Paul regarded prayer as a rope to communicate with God. Then if we can communicate with the living God through prayer, would we not want to pray all the time? Like Jesus, we should do everything with prayer.

Failing to Pray is a Sin

If we fail to pray to God, the Bible regards it as a sin.

1 Samuel 12:23 “As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you.”

There are many sins in the Bible and failure to pray is one of them. Then why does God consider our negligence of prayer as a sin? Would we be able to receive any spiritual blessings or successes without God’s help? Never! To let us know the importance of prayer and to bless us continually, God instructs us that a life of faith without prayer is a life of sin.

God Answers All Our Prayers

God not only hears but also answers all our prayers. When we pray with faith, God will give us everything we ask.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:7-11‬ ‭“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”

But we must believe with conviction and not pray half-heartedly or with doubt.

Matthew‬ ‭21:22‬ ‭ “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

‭‭God does not answer prayers that test Him, are with a sinful mind, or have the wrong motives. When it is for righteousness in God and we ask with faith, God will absolutely answer us. Therefore, we should always ask in obedience to God’s will.

Our awesome God, Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, want to hear from us, Their children, all the time. Let’s always think of God and call on Them by using the tool of prayer.

Category Beliefs>Beliefs>God the Mother Heavenly Mother is the Key to Our Salvation

When we read the Bible carefully, we can understand that we have both our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother in the Kingdom of Heaven and we are Their spiritual children. From creation, we can realize the providence of God in creating mothers. Everything that receives life on earth comes from a mother. In the same way, only through our Heavenly Mother will we receive life for our souls and live forever.

Although many do not believe in our Mother testified in the Bible, all mankind must know and accept the existence of Heavenly Mother to receive eternal life.

Heavenly Mother Revealed through Biblical Characters

The truth of Heavenly Mother is the most important teaching in the Bible. In order to reveal the truth about Mother to us, God introduced characters in the bible.

The Will of God in Creating Eve, Adam’s Wife

God’s intent in creating Adam was to reveal our Heavenly Father and Eve was created to reveal our Heavenly Mother.

Ro 5:14 … Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.

The book of Romans was written after Jesus had already ascended. Therefore, the “one to come” mentioned in the above verse indicates Second Coming Jesus, our Heavenly Father. Then what does God want us to understand about Eve, Adam’s wife?

Ge 3:20 Adam[a] named his wife Eve,[b] because she would become the mother of all the living.

Eve was called “the mother of all the living.” Therefore, we can understand Eve represents our Heavenly Mother.

Adam and Eve represent our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.

The Will of God in Creating Sarah, Abraham’s Wife

God awakens us to the truth of God the Father and God the Mother through the history of Abraham and Sarah.

Ge 17:15-16 God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”

Sarah is called “the mother of all nations.” We can see Sarah in the Bible represents our Heavenly Mother, who is the Mother of us all. Then whom does Abraham represent according to God’s words?

Lk 16:23-26 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

Only God in Heaven can be called Father. Thus, we can understand that Abraham represents our Father. God interlinked Adam with Eve and Abraham with Sarah so we could understand the existence of our Father and Mother.

Our Heavenly Mother

There are many prophecies in the bible that display the truth of God the Mother. We must diligently study the prophecies so we can gain a deeper understanding of Her.

Gal 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

This mother is not referring to our physical mothers, but the Mother of our spirits in Heaven. Here, we can understand the Jerusalem that is above in Heaven represents our Heavenly Mother.

Rev 21:9-10 … “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

This Bride is the Wife of Christ, our Heavenly Father. The Bible reads that the Bride represents Jerusalem coming down from Heaven. Therefore, the Bible is testifying that the wife of our Heavenly Father is represented as the Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven. When we connect the above verses, we can understand that the Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven in our Heavenly Mother.

We can now understand that God planted the truth of our spiritual Mother all throughout the Bible so all mankind would be able to find Her.

God the Mother Existed since Creation

Many people have a difficult time believing in Mother because they have never heard of Mother before and have only grown up learning about God our Father. However, since the first page of the Bible, Mother has always existed. We can see this in the following verse.

Ge 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…“ So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

God, who created mankind, is expressed here as “us” and “our” and created mankind in the image of God. When we look at mankind, we see two images of God: male and female.  If God created males and females then God is not just male, but also female.

People acknowledge the male image of God as Father, then what about the female image of God? She is God the Mother. We must certainly believe in the male and female image of God because it is testified in the Bible.

Come to the Spirit and the Bride

The role of Heavenly Mother is to give life to all mankind in this last age.

Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

We know the water of life is not referring to physical water, but eternal life. Only God can give eternal life, therefore, the Spirit and the Bride must be God. The Spirit represents our Heavenly Father according to the trinity and the Bride represents our Heavenly Mother. In this last age, we have to come to know and accept both Father and Mother to receive salvation.

Throughout the Bible, we can see it is only in Zion where all of God’s children will be saved and enter heaven. We can only find true God in Zion. God has established Zion, the Church of God, for all mankind so they can receive the Spirit and the Bride.

Only the Wise will Accept the Spirit and the Bride

Many people think God the Mother does not exist, but this is contrary to God’s teachings.

Mt 13:24-27 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Jesus said those who correctly understand the words of God and put them into practice are considered the wise. Then if we desire to be the wise in God’s eyes, we will accept all of God’s teachings including the prophecies of Mother.

In this last age, God the Mother must exist for our salvation. We must realize the love and sacrifice of our Heavenly Mother who has spared nothing for Her children. It is only in Zion where Father and Mother dwell and where people can receive eternal life.
