How Can We Be a Part With Christ in This Age?

Seeking Salvation through Faith
Many believers in Christ want to be a part of Christ and want to receive salvation from God in the end. Why should we have a part with God then? Let us see why we should seek God and why we believe in God.
1 Peter 1:8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
The reason we are to seek God is to receive the salvation of our souls. Then while living in this world, we are to seek our Savior who is Christ. This is the reason Christ came to the earth. When seeking Christ, it’s crucial to remember not to judge based on our own thoughts or opinions.
Learning from Peter’s Experience
Concerning this, let’s take a look at the history of the Apostles 2,000 years ago.
John 13:4-8 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him. He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”
In the Gospels, we can see that Peter made mistakes. Although Peter loved and followed Jesus however he had many of his own thoughts and ideas. So Jesus corrected him on several occasions.
Peter said “You shall never wash my feet” out of reverence for Jesus. He thought that Jesus was above him and did not want Him to wash his feet. But it was only his own thought. Jesus clearly revealed God’s will that unless He washed him, he would have no part with him. This showed that he could not receive salvation being apart from Jesus. Through this, we can understand that those who hold on to their own thoughts or opinions can make the mistake to be apart from Christ. Today it is the same.
Recognizing the Spirit and the Bride
The Savior in the age of the Father was Jehovah. At that time no one could be saved if they had no part with Jehovah. In the Son’s age, the Savior was Jesus and nobody could be saved if they had no part with Jesus. Then what about today in the age of the Holy Spirit?
Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
According to the prophecy of the Bible, it is the Spirit and the Bride who will save God’s people by giving them the water of life. What is required from us is to remove our thoughts and opinions and to accept the Spirit and the Bride. Just as Peter had to remove his mistaken thoughts to accept the savior and be a part with Him, we are to do the same today.
The Spirit indicates God Himself (Jn 4:24), God the Father. Then who is the Bride that appears alongside God the Father?
Revelation 21:9-10 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God
Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother
The Spirit and the Bride indicate God the Father and God the Mother who appear in the last days. They will call God’s people and grant them the water of life which is salvation. Then what is required of them? It is to let go of their thoughts and opinions and follow the Saviors.
Then where can we find Father and Mother, the true Saviors in this age? It is only in the World Mission Society Church of God. We must go there and be a part of Them so that we can receive salvation and enter the kingdom of heaven.
